On Police Day in Belarus, official and ceremonial events are traditionally held:
Award ceremonies. Veterans and current police officers are presented with state and departmental awards for special merits and achievements. The best officers receive honorary certificates and gratitude for their service.
Minutes of silence and flower-laying. On this day, the memory of officers who died in the line of duty is honored. Flowers are laid at memorials and monuments in their honor.
Demonstration performances. Police officers demonstrate their professional skills - demonstration training, events with dogs, combat techniques, and weapons handling skills.
Public events and meetings with citizens. Meetings with police representatives are organized for citizens, where officers talk about their work and conduct preventive talks, especially among schoolchildren and young people.
Memorable events and lectures. Meetings are held in schools, universities, and cultural institutions, where they talk about the history of the police, its role, and its importance for society.
